Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to HtmlToWebsite at htmltowebsite.com, its publishing and account features, and related HtmlToWebsite services. By using the service, you acknowledge the data practices described below.
Information we collect
Published content and project information: the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, filenames, folder structure, titles, slugs, custom domains, release versions, file sizes, storage paths, publishing status, creation time, expiration time, and recovery deadline associated with a site you submit.
Account and authentication information: your email address, display name, email-verification status, sign-in provider, session identifiers, login and expiration times, and related account settings.
Subscription and transaction information: your plan, billing interval, subscription status, Stripe customer and transaction identifiers, invoice status, and other information needed to activate and manage paid features. Stripe processes payment-card details; HtmlToWebsite does not receive or store your full card number.
Device, log, and usage information: IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, language, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, error and performance logs, security signals, and product usage events.
How we use information
We use this information to publish and deliver your sites, maintain your account, process subscriptions, connect custom domains, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, communicate service events, and improve HtmlToWebsite.
We also use information to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate fraud or security incidents, respond to complaints and legal requests, and maintain records required for billing, security, and compliance.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand service performance and usage trends.
Content review and security checks
Submitted files and related metadata may be automatically scanned or reviewed to detect malware, phishing, prohibited content, copyright or abuse complaints, and other security risks. These checks may use Cloudflare security and AI services. We do not guarantee that every harmful file or policy violation will be detected.
Public sites and visitor information
Sites you publish are available on a public web address. An unlisted address is not private: anyone with the address may view, copy, download, screenshot, cache, or share the content. Browsers, search engines, social platforms, messaging tools, archives, and visitors may retain copies outside our control. Do not publish passwords, access tokens, private business information, sensitive personal information, or material you do not have permission to share.
A published site may contain third-party scripts, forms, analytics, embeds, or external resources supplied by its publisher. Those features may collect visitor information independently of HtmlToWebsite. The publisher is responsible for providing any required privacy notice, obtaining consent, and complying with applicable law. This Privacy Policy does not cover third-party code embedded by a publisher.
Cookies, local storage, and analytics
We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in, session security, draft continuity, publishing handoffs, and theme preferences. Restricting these technologies may prevent account, payment, preference, or publishing features from working correctly.
When configured, Google Analytics or similar measurement tools may process page visits, referrals, device information, and product usage so we can understand performance and improve the service.

Service providers include Cloudflare for hosting, storage, databases, content delivery, security, and abuse prevention; Stripe for subscription billing; Google for optional account authentication; Resend and Cloudflare email services for sign-in and service messages; and Google Analytics when analytics is enabled.
We may also disclose necessary information to comply with a valid legal request, investigate abuse or infringement, protect users or the service, resolve payment disputes, or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets. These providers and recipients process information under their own terms or applicable obligations.
Retention and deletion
Published content follows the retention window shown in the product for your account and plan. Guest sites are normally deleted after one day. Free-account sites are normally live for seven days and recoverable until day fourteen. Paid-plan retention and post-cancellation recovery depend on the plan shown at purchase.
Account, subscription, invoice, domain, security, and compliance records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal or financial obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Backup copies and records retained for those purposes may remain for a limited period after a deletion request.
Your choices and rights
You can avoid creating an account, remove published sites through available management controls, cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal, and sign out to end your current session. You may also use browser controls to limit non-essential cookies or storage.
Privacy rights differ by location. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal information; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some records may be retained when permitted or required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, permission limits, security monitoring, and protections provided by our infrastructure partners. No online service or storage method can guarantee absolute security, so you should keep your credentials secure and avoid publishing sensitive information.
Children
HtmlToWebsite is not directed to children who are below the minimum age required to use online services in their location, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the request.
International processing
